Thursday August 6 Soinette Désir, Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities, received a delegation from the Association of Small People of Haiti (APPTH).

During this visit, the delegation presented to the Secretary of State their plan to represent Haiti at the Football World Cup of Small People's in 2022, in Argentina and requested the support of the Office of the Secretary of State to the Integration of Handicapped Persons (BSEIPH) for the realization of this project. Recalling that people with disabilities have, on several occasions, proudly represented Haiti in sports competitions thanks to the work of the male and female teams of the Haitian Amputee Football Association.

Congratulating the initiative of the APPTH, Secretary Désir assured the delegation of the support of her office towards this goal and wished good work to the entire APPTH team.
