The Communication Unit of the State University of Haiti (UEH) informs the general public, the university community in particular that the Geosciences Research Unit (URGéo) attached to the Faculty of Sciences has launched the 2020 edition of its drawing competition.

This edition is organized with the aim of sensitizing young Haitians to the hydroclimatic risks in the country, in particular cyclones, torrential downpours, flood and drought. The theme chosen this year is : "Hydroclimatic risks and their impact on the country's development".

To register, interested parties must complete the online registration form on all of URGéo’s virtual platforms.

Deadline for submission of drawings : August 31, 2020

Participation fees : 250 gourdes (non-refundable and payable by MonCash).

It should be noted, among other things, that all participants must be between 16 and 35 years old when submitting their drawing. Any winner of a previous edition is prohibited from participating. It is also accepted that entries can be individual or in a mixed group of up to three (3) people with a valid ID required for one of the members.
