iciHaiti - Environment : Several delegations from the Ministry to patronal feasts
Several delegations from the Ministry of the Environment left Port-au-Prince this week to go respectively to the West, Nippes, North and North-East, in order to strengthen eco-citizen activities, on occasion of the patronal feasts of Notre Dame.
This initiative initiated by the Ministry is part of the perspective of offering support to Municipalities, to enable them to welcome visitors in an attractive and healthy environmental setting. It is also an opportunity to educate the latter as well as local residents to adopting environmentally friendly behavior.
At the same time, Abner Septembre, the Minister of the Environment who will be present in the Great South, will take the opportunity to launch, in Baconois and Aquin, the installation project of 7 solar-powered water pumping systems. It will also launch the "Nou pral plante dlo" program at the level of Les Cayes and Aquin communes.
