On Friday evening while returning home, Me Monferrier Dorval, president of the Port-au-Prince Bar Association, was fatally hit by several bullets fired by unidentified individuals, while he was in the parking lot of his residence, preliminary information confirmed by the Pétion-ville police station
We do not know the reasons for this assassination. However, as President of the Bar, Me Monferrier Dorval had recently taken public positions on hot topics of the day, without knowing for the moment whether this murder (or this execution) is linked to his statements...
