Thursday, in Pétion-ville not far from the Oasis hotel, the host at Radio Caraibes Frantz Adrien Bony aka "Francky Bonny" was assassinated by a bullet to the head, while returning from an evening of tribute to Shoubou. He died instantly.

Witnesses said unidentified individuals driving a black Toyota Rav4 vehicle without a license plate were the perpetrators of the assassination.

The divisional inspector, Gary Desrosiers, Deputy spokesperson of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced the opening of an investigation in order to track down and arrest the perpetrators of this crimes, inviting the population to share their information with investigators.
