Fils Aimé Ignace Saint Fleur the Director General of the Office for the Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD) in the presence of local authorities, notables and many residents, inaugurated the public square Ste Anne de Bois-de-Laurence (2nd communal section of Mombin Crochu, North-East Dept.) financed by BMPAD funds to the tune of just over 3 million gourdes (3,204,254.34). It was the reverent Father Marie Mackanda Bavron, who proceeded to bless the Square.

In addition to the recreation areas, meeting areas and a mini basketball court, an electrical installation was built for night lighting.

Taking advantage of his trip, the Director General of BMPAD announced the completion of the construction of the Peace Tribunal and the Sub-Commissariat as well as the elevation of this communal section to the rank of commune. A news which provoked standing applause for long minutes.
