The Secretary of State for the Integration of Disabled People, Ms. Soinette Désir, proceeded on September 25 in her office in Nazon to the handing over of grant checks to 40 disabled people.

This financial assistance will allow beneficiaries to cover various expenses including school fees and to carry out income-generating activities.

The Secretary of State in her remarks for the occasion urged the beneficiaries to make good use of this financial assistance and recalled her desire to contribute to the accomplishment of the mission of her office, which is to work for the improvement of the conditions of life of people with disabilities reiterating its commitment to continue working to take into account the needs of people with special needs and their families.
