On the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day of the Girl, the Network of Children and Young Defenders of their Rights (REJDD) is launching the 2nd Edition of its Posts competition. This edition will take place from October 1, 2020 to October 11, 2020 on the theme "online freedom : a right to be preserved without any gender distinction". REJDD invites all young influencers, activists and committed people who are interested in participating.

The criteria for participation :

Be between 15 and 24 years old

Be available to participate in the commemoration ceremony for the International Day of the Girl (11 Oct 2020) in the metropolitan area.

Post type required :

A video of 90 seconds maximum in Creole or French.

The video must :

Inform people about online freedom;

Bring everyone's attention to the harassment and abuse that girls and young women face on social media;

Educate users of social networks on the importance of respecting the difference of opinion and difference.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Wednesday October 7, 2020

The awards ceremony will take place on October 11 at the Girl's Day commemoration ceremony.

Consolation bonuses are reserved for those finishing in 4th and 5th place.

Note : The choice of winners will be made by a jury made up of people specialized in the field. The names of the winners as well as their videos will be posted on the REJDD HAITI page on October 9, 2020.
