iciHaiti - Politic : Training of departmental executives
As part of the implementation of the Support project for local governance and territorial development, the Ministry of Planning is carrying out a training course from October 5 to 9 intended for executives of town halls, delegations, departmental coordination and focal points of the four Departments of the border strip project.

This training consists of enabling executives to appropriate the principles and techniques of project management in order to develop the skills necessary for planning, organizing and monitoring projects. It is also to help them better understand and be able to apply the procedures related to the management of public investment in Haiti.

Let's recall that the Support Project for Local Governance and Territorial Development, which affects 12 border communes , aims to support the Ministry in the design of a capacity building program for its Departmental Directorates in order to ensure operationalization of public investment programs, of projects resulting from plans and the mobilization of resources for local actors, funded to the tune of $16.5 million by Canadian Cooperation, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Haitian government
