Renan Hédouville Protector of the Citizen, Director of the Office for the Protection of the Citizen (OPC) while demanding justice and reparation for all the victims fallen under murderous bullets, "observes with indignation, the use of exaggerated violence, unacceptable, intolerable" in citizen demands demanding "justice".

"[...] Attacking and destroying private property, physically and psychologically assaulting poor public transport drivers, terrorizing State officials who are not directly or indirectly concerned by acts of assassination is a another form of cruel and unacceptable injustice. Justice is not synonymous with violence. It is also contrary to revenge. Violence and revenge kill justice. They hinder the development of human rights and the healthy distribution of justice. We must all reject violence [...]" explains Hédouville in a note.

Concluding "In the current socio-political context, the distribution of justice constitutes the priority because it will allow us to tackle the challenges of the hour. State authorities must listen to the population and facilitate the strengthening of the judicial system, capable of meeting the expectations of litigants.
