iciHaiti - Politic : Prime Minister Jouthe celebrates rural women
Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe participated in the 13th World Day of Rural Women celebrated in Haiti around the theme "Fanm peyizan se motè devlopman peyi a : an nou kore yo", organized by the Ministry for the Status of Women in Bion (First communal section de Chansolme, North-West Department).

Like the Head of Government who warmly saluted the courage and unwavering devotion of rural Haitian women on behalf of the Head of State, Marie Ghislaine Mompremier, the Minister for the Status of Women and the First Lady, Martine Moïse have in turn urged rural girls not to stop educating themselves even though they got pregnant prematurely.

On the sidelines of the celebration of this Day, Minister Mompremier, accompanied by Abner Septembre, the Minister of the Environment, the First Lady and her Chief of Staff, Guerline Pierre. The Prime Minister actively participated in the launch of the campaign of reforestation "Nou pra 1 plante dlo pou nou ka rekolte dlo", in the locality of Fond-Jacques (2nd municipal section of Chansolme).

After each planting several varieties of plants prepared by the Obert plant propagation center (upstream of the Zabethe spring), the delegation went to the Moreau catchment with a flow of 200 liters per minute.

Aware of the importance of this water table serving the city of Port-de-Paix, Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe spoke with the peasants on the need for a community toilet project in order to prevent any spread of sickness linked to drinking contaminated water.
