During a ceremony at the National Ambulance Center (CAN) of Haiti, the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti, Ku Wen-jiann signed a donation agreement with Mrs. Marie Greta Roy Clément, the Minister of Public Health in the presence of Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe

Ambassador Ku Wen-jiann reiterated the Taiwanese commitment to promote the health well-being of the Haitian people.

At the end of this signing, Prime Minister Jouthe declared "I welcome the signing of this agreement between the Embassy of Taiwan and the Ministry of Public Health, which will strengthen the operational capacity of CAN, by the addition of ambulances, construction of buildings and staff training.
