iciHaiti - Security : Project for a reporting circuit for journalists in danger or murdered
During a day of reflection on the end of impunity for crimes committed against journalists, Rockefeller Vincent the Minister of Justice and Public Security recalled the many cases of journalists murdered or threatened in Haiti in the context of their professional activities and insisted on the other hand on the need that these crimes do not remain unpunished and that justice be done.

In this sense, Minister Vincent informed that his Ministry is working on a project to create a circuit for reporting cases of journalists in danger or murdered, in order to guarantee freedom of the press and freedom of expression in the country. This project will be undertaken in partnership with the Ministry of Communication.

The Minister reiterated his commitment to contribute "against the impunity of crimes committed against journalists" and to ensure the proper functioning of justice, because "freedom of the press is a major pillar of the rule of law."
