iciHaiti - Montreal : Visit of the Haitian Consul to «La Perle Retrouvée»

With a view to establishing a relationship of proximity and conviviality between the Consulate and the Haitian community of Montreal, the Consul General of Haiti, Dr. Fritz Dorvilier went on December 3 to the Socio-Cultural Association "La Perle Retrouvée" in order to learn about its activities which it has been carrying out since 1997.

Consul Dorvilier took advantage of his visit to meet and share a meal with elders of the Haitian community, as part of the "Center du jour" program consisting of serving a hearty meal every Thursday to this social category.

He warmly congratulated the leaders of the Association for this noble initiative which, according to him, is of great importance for the elderly both from a physical and psychological point of view and promised them the support of the Consulate.
