A historic date in the calendars of the Haitian community in France because it marks the first time that a state personality and members of different religious denominations of the Haitian Community of France have gathered around the same table to discuss.

Wedlyne François Pierre took the decision to organize this meeting in order to show the world that dialogue between Haitians was possible despite different religious views and differences of opinion. According to the Consul, “dialogue is the surest way to achieve lasting progress […] and tolerance remains and remains the best way to achieve higher ends and the common good. "

The people who took part in this meeting were Stéphanie Larrieux, Representative of the voodoo sector; Pastor Emmanuel Toussaint (Protestant sector) and the priest Jn Orlens St Louis, chaplain of the Catholic community.
