In a note, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) would like to inform the public that it has not recently identified any case of a police officer with gunshot wounds assigned to the Bicentenaire sub police station. Consequently, the PNH invites the population to pay attention to certain messages circulating on social networks whose objective is to tarnish the image of the police institution and informs that the institution is preparing to investigate repeated cases of dissemination of false information and malicious individuals will be arrested for legal follow-up.
It takes the opportunity to remind members of the Police Institution that the "medico-social" service of the General Directorate of the PNH usually takes care of all police officers who are victims of any act whatsoever during the exercise of their function. In addition, the PNH receives the beneficiaries for cases of mortality.
