No information has filtered out on the cause of his death Reacting to the news, President Moïse said on Twitter, "I was moved to learn of the sad news of the death of ONA DG Me Chesnel Pierre. On behalf of my Administration and on my own behalf, I offer, in this painful circumstance, my condolences to the members of his family and relatives, as well as to the employees of the institution.é For his part, Weibert Arthus the Ambassador of Haiti to Canada declared "Saddened by the death of the Director of the ONA, Mr. Chesnel Pierre.
