iciHaiti - Sports : The Taekwondo Federation meets Minister Riva

Ms. Raymonde Rival, the new Minister of Youth and Sports, accompanied by her Chief of Staff, Jean Tholbert Alexis, received last week a delegation from the Haitian Taekwondo Federation (FHT) led by Peter Étienne Vice-President of the Federation which was accompanied by young taekwondoists.
It was an opportunity for Étienne to expose the various structural and economic problems which are slowing down the development of the federation, which despite everything has 29 medalists to its credit (10 Gold, 14 Silver and 5 bronze) won in competitions held in Central America, South America and the United States since 2004.
Minister Rival and Vice-President Étienne also discussed the Federation's upcoming participation in international competitions.
