According to his observations and the information obtained, the work is progressing well and the executing companies are working extra hard to meet the revised deadline. The Minister intends to provide all the support of his Ministry so that these structures are truly operational for the benefit of the population. The progress of the work is estimated at 80%. For the Route Neuve bridge, commissioned in November 2021, workers are carrying out gabioning work to protect the banks and lateral drainage. As for the construction of the bridge which crosses the Grise River on the Nationale #1, near Croix-des-Missions, it is in its final phase. The workers are working on the construction of the access ramps and the protection of the banks of the river. The official inauguration of these two facilities is scheduled for early 2022.
