Monday January 3, 2022, in a friendly atmosphere Jackson Hilaire the Director of the Border Police (PoliFront) organized a small snack for the agents of this specialized unit of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) whose mission consists to fight in particular against cross-border crimes.

Director Hilaire took the opportunity to award letters of congratulations to the agents and members of the administrative staff who marked the service with their dedication and sense of responsibility.

During the year 2021, Polifront agents deployed at the border points of Malpasse, Ouanaminthe and Anse-à-Pitres, outposts and in Morne Casse, made 329 arrests and seized nearly 10 kg of narcotics (marijuana, cocaine and others...) as well as weapons and ammunition. Thanks to the efforts of Frantz Elbé Commander-in-Chief, of the PNH to significantly strengthen the operational capacity of the unit, the Polifront will be able to increase its workforce by 40 police officers selected from a list of 122 who have passed all stages of a process of recruitment in 2019.

The construction of a dormitory, a cafeteria and a sports area at the Polifront Headquarters are, among other things, the objectives set for the year 2022.
