Emmélie Prophet Milcé, the new Minister of Culture learned with great emotion of the death on Friday January 21, 2022 of the famous Haitian comedian and comedian Nicolas Pierre Rolin, "Alcibiade" at the age of 83.

"A brilliant creator, endowed with a talent as an actor and as an imitator which enabled him to play several roles in the same sketch, to vary the intonation and the timbres of his voice according to the character he embodied, Alcibiades was a true artist, to say only that, of the stage and the radio soap opera.

In the 70s and 80s, he hosted, every Sunday, on Radio MBC, the most popular comedy show of the time. About two decades later, we find him, once again, every Sunday, on Caraïbes Fm, with the same momentum and the same passion.

With the disappearance of Alcibiades, also disappears a whole style of comedy of which he alone undoubtedly had the secret.
