iciHaiti - Politic : «February 7 does not mark the end of the Government's mandate» dixit the PM.
On Tuesday, February 2nd, Prime Minister ai Ariel Henry opened the workshop on the State Modernization Program, organized by the Office of Human Resources Management, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP-Haiti).

Excerpts from the intervention of Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry :

"[...] I made a commitment to continue implementing the reform of the State. The Government has set itself the following objectives : the fight against corruption and smuggling, the moralization of the Public Administration, the conduct of structural reforms, the consolidation of public finances and the establishment of a rigorous budgetary management method.

[...] The development of the country must necessarily go through a Public Administration that is efficient, efficient, honest and capable of providing quality services to the population. In this sense, my Government supports and welcomes all initiatives aimed at strengthening public governance.

[...] The decade 2020-2030 has been declared a 'Decade of Action'. It is therefore time for the mobilization of all the living forces of the country to redraw the future of our very dear Haiti and to act accordingly, in order to offer better living conditions to the Haitian population.

[...] February 7 does not mark the end of the Government's mandate, which is responsible for organizing free and democratic elections. The next tenant of the National Palace will be a president elected freely by the entire Haitian people [...]"
