iciHaiti - FLASH : As February 7 approaches, the PNH on high alert
A few days before February 7, 2022, the date on which, according to the wishes of the opposition, Prime Minister Ariel Henry should leave power, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) is mobilizing its staff to deal with all eventualities.

Let's recall that the Prime Minister ai Henry has repeatedly declared that he will not leave power on February 7, 2022 and that only a democratically elected President will replace him https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-35750-haiti-politic-the-pm-launches-an-umpteenth-call-for-dialogue-speech.html

In correspondence dated February 1, 2022, Frantz Elbé, Acting Director General of the PNH, informs the Chief Inspector General and the central and departmental directors that "[...] all police personnel are placed on maximum alert on the entire territory of the Republic from February 5 to 10, 2022" adding "please, except in cases of illness, order the cancellation of all leave so that sufficient staff are permanently available in all police structures."
