Raymonde Rival, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, accompanied by her Director of Cabinet, Jean Tholbert Alexis met with the Ambassador of Mexico in Haiti Jose Luis Alvarado to explore avenues of cooperation to strengthen the supervision of young people in the country.

The Minister stressed to her interlocutor the importance of revitalizing cooperation between Haiti and Mexico in the areas of youth and sports.

Ambassador Alvarado said he was willing to work with the Ministry of Youth in the three sub-sectors (Youth - Sport - Civic Action) and promised to follow up on the file with the Mexican authorities. He was optimistic about the revival and revitalization of cooperation between the two countries in youth and sports.

Note that there was also talk of the possibility of offering short-cycle technical scholarships to Haitians in the country.
