Of the 756 cases handled by the CAN in January 2022 (-28.94% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-35675-icihaiti-health-review-of-the-national-ambulance-center-december-2021.html), 38% were transfers, 22% obstetric emergencies and 12% miscellaneous conditions. The CAN intervened in: 41 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19); 25 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies); 167 obstetric emergencies; 288 transfers (references and laboratory tests); 89 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.). In addition, the CAN intervened in 39 road accidents, 11 bullet wounds, 24 stab wounds, 25 traumas (injuries and fractures of various degrees), 3 cases of burns, as well as 25 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 19 suspected cases. Of the 756 cases handled by the CAN: 334 interventions took place in the West, 125 in the Artibonite, 19 in the South, 120 in the North-West, 52 in the South-East, 54 in the North /North-East, 17 in Grand'Anse, 35 in Nippes and 0 in the Center.
