iciHaiti - Port-au-Prince : Individuals shoot festival-goers several victims

Sunday, February 20, while the "Fashion Matté" walking band delighted a crowd of festival-goers, at Rue Cameau and headed for the Champ-de-Mars to participate in the activities of the last pre-carnival Sunday, Unidentified armed individuals opened fire on the revelers, causing panic.
According to Woodley François, drummer of "Fashion Matté", several people were injured without being able to specify the number in view of the general panic. According to various testimonies, one person was killed in the shooting.
Police have made no statement about this unfortunate incident.
