iciHaiti - Security : The PNH met with a delegation from the United Nations system

Frantz Elbé, the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) accompanied by the Chief Inspector General, Fritz Saint-Fort, the Central Director of Administration Wency Bien-Aimé and other members of the high command , met with a delegation from the United Nations system.
This delegation was composed of Ms. Helen La Lime, Special Representative in Haiti of the Secretary General of the United Nations, also Head of the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) and representatives of agencies of the United Nations system, including the Program United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The assessment of the current security context of the country including the challenges faced by the PNH, discussions around a new initiative underway to create a common fund through which the police institution could strengthen its capacities, were the two main points discussed at this meeting.
