Frantz Elbé the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) accompanied by the Chief Inspector General, Fritz Saint-Fort, made this week an assessment visit to the sub-police station of Pernier 5th communal section of Pétion -ville.

Through this visit, the two senior officers of the police institution intended to become personally involved in a process of discussions with the police officers assigned to the sub-police station to define strategies aimed at putting out of harm's way the armed gangs who are trying to create a climate of terror in this area.

Frantz Elbé, who says to be at the listening ofthe calls for help made by the population of this area, reiterated his desire to continue to work with national and international institutions in order to provide the police with equipment and materials adequate to strengthen their operational capacity.
