iciHaiti - Women's Day : Intervention of Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry

On Tuesday, March 8, Prime Minister ai Ariel Henry spoke at the ceremony to celebrate International Women's Rights Day, organized by the Ministry for the Status of Women around the theme: "Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow"

Intervention by the Prime Minister :

"Onè respè pou tout fanm tè Dayiti. Nou se poto mitan sosyete a. Nou se modèl devlopman, modèl chanjman, modèl pwogrè. Yo se Ayiti ke nou tout reve a : yon bèl peyi kote tout pitit li ka viv byen. Yon peyi san egalite s on sosyete san fòs e san avni.

Ochan pou fanm k ap lite, fanm vanyan, fanm angaje pou yon lot Ayiti, pou yon lot demen miyò pou tout pitit tè Dessalines lan, Claire Heureuse, Sanite Belair. Marie Jeanne, Catherine-Flon...

I urge the Ministry for the Status of Women to advance the process of integrating the gender dimension in the community. Concrete actions are needed, aimed at the political, social and economic recovery of women, in order to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Onè respè pou tout fanm nan peyi a k ap goumen pou dwa yo respekte, k ap goumen pou gason bouke fè yo pase mizè, pou yo sispann fè yo abi, pou yo sispann sibi diskriminasyon ak kesyon lalwa pi fò yo.

The future we want is a world where every woman can live free from discrimination and violence, and fully enjoy her fundamental rights and human dignity.

Long live the Haitian woman!

Long live equality between men and women! Long live Haiti."
