On Sunday afternoon, a truck parked on the Terminal Propane SA (Terpro SA) area located in Martissant caught fire in the middle of the afternoon for an unknown reason.

Terminal officials called the firefighters who, in order to move, required the accompaniment of police officers from special units to ensure their protection, the area being under gang control. Long before a solution was found, the fire gradually extinguished itself

Recall that this terminal is the largest Propane gas storage site in the country with a capacity of 2,000 metric tons and a capacity of 7 million gallons of petroleum products.

However, the integrity of the site was not threatened, the incident having fortunately occurred in an area of the terminal far from the storage area.

The situation remains tense, because the authorities of the terminal do not know if the gangs are responsible for the fire of the truck or if it is about a defect of the vehicle...
