iciHaiti - Health : The PoliFront intercepts a minibus filled with expired drugs

On Saturday March 19, 2022, Border Police (PoliFrontT) agents intercepted at Morne-à-Cabri, a mini bus coming from the city of Cap-Haitien, carrying 309 boxes of expired drugs, some of which are dangerous, intended to be sold illegally on the local market.
Most of these drugs, including Cefoxitin injectable (exp date: Dec 2021), Heparin Injectable (exp date: Feb 2022), Paraplantin (exp date: March 2022) which are rare on the Haitian market, represent a real danger to the health of the population according to a team from the Ministry of Health dispatched to the scene to accompany the Justice of the Peace making the legal report.
The PoliFront agents arrested 3 people, 2 of whom were released by the Justice of the Peace after verbalization. The third person identified as Rosette Cidelma has been taken into custody.
