On Wednesday March 23, an unidentified armed individual who was trying to hold up a plainclothes police officer, who had just carried out a bank transaction, was fatally injured in Street Faubert Pétion-ville.

His accomplice was wounded in the leg and arrested by a patrol from the Pétion-ville police station and bikers from the Motorized Intervention Brigade Corps (CBIM) who arrived as reinforcements shortly afterwards.

A motorcycle and a Ruger 9mm pistol were seized.
