They fled in the victim's vehicle, a blue Isuzu D-Max, registration number AA-10470. The Coordination of Press and Public Relations of the PNH underlines "The Intervention Brigade of the Tabarre police station, the Brigade for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS), the BRICIF, the PoliFront and the Corps of Motorized Intervention Brigades (CBIM) have for some time reinforced their presence at several strategic points in the commune of Tabarre to thwart kidnappers, thus in less than two weeks several cases of kidnapping have been thwarted, hostages released and bandits mortally wounded."
