iciHaiti - Culture : UniQ students visit the Art Center

On March 31, students in Tourism Management from Quisqueya University (UniQ) visited "Le Center d'Art" (Art Center). The purpose of this visit was to familiarize students with Haitian artistic creation and establish contact with the Center and its permanent collection.
"The feedback is positive. The students left happy and satisfied. This visit awakened in them an interest in artistic creation," confided the initiator of the visit, Professor of Preventive Conservation at the UniQ Jean Emile Paul adding "They told me that they learned a lot from the Art Center. We would like to thank the Executive Director of the Allenby Augustin Art Center who knew how to create in students the desire to embrace the artistic and cultural world."
Allenby Augustin told them the history of the Center and explained how it works. He made them visit certain sections of the institution : The classrooms, the permanent collection, the archives section.
