Friday, April 8, 2022, in Bois-Bœuf (suburb of Jacmel) investigators from the Departmental Service of the Judicial Police and agents from the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO) carried out a major dragnet and arrested 14 individuals, including 3 women: Johnny Deshommes, Gladys Sanon, Louise Jean, Louise Bonzil, Jameson Jules, Dieuquifet Sanon, Roma Jeudi, Veriane Jean, Colbert Sanon, Vital Pierre Harryson, Milord Jonas Sanon, Leslie Nozil, Guitar Sanon and Toslet Lindor, are individuals arrested during this operation.

They were placed in police custody pending the legal outcome of their case and are accused of criminal association and illegal possession of firearms.

At the end of this operation, the following items were seized, among others: 3 motorcycles, 2 Suzuki brand vehicles, 1 12-gauge rifle, 1 Smith and Wesson 38-gauge revolver, ammunition, 18 mobile phones, 3 machetes, 1 knife and an axe...
