iciHaiti - Education : They are between 10 and 18 years old and know how to write their names and count for the first time
They are between 10 and 18 years old and know how to write their names and count for the first time thanks to the Youth Empowerment Activities Project (YEEA) in collaboration with the Institution Univers de Ouanaminthe.

With this new knowledge acquired, these young people now see the future with optimism.

The YEEA Project has supported local organizations in Ouanaminthe to strengthen the life skills and civic engagement of vulnerable young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods, street children, school dropouts, those expelled from the border with the Dominican Republic, children in domestic service (restavek), children in violation of the law and young girls at risk of early pregnancy.

Note that the YEEA is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti) through the Organization of American States (OAS).
