On Saturday May 14, 2022, Ricardo Charles (21), a member of the "400 Mawozo" gang, was fatally injured in "Anba Pikan", a locality located not far from the communal market of Croix-des-Bouquets, during exchanges of fire with the Police.

Ricardo Charles, a native of Kenscoff who was in possession of an assault rifle (Galil) was one of the influential members of the "400 Mawozo" gang.

The National Police of Haiti (PNH), which has been carrying out targeted interventions for several weeks in the neighborhoods where the bandits are entrenched, calls on the population to collaborate with their information in the fight against armed gangs.
