iciHaiti - Security : The PNH thwarts a kidnapping attempt 20/05/2022 10:54:37
Following an alert from the Intelligence and Operations Center (CRO) reporting an attempted kidnapping on a Nissan Xterra brand vehicle, a PoliFront patrol was quickly dispatched to the scene. The kidnappers who were riding a motorcycle, after having pointed their weapons in the direction of the 3 occupants of the vehicle, including a young girl. The bandits were pursued by the police, which forced them to abandon the vehicle and tried to flee with the girl as hostage. Thanks to the timely deployment of patrols from several specialized units such as the Motorized Intervention Brigade, the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order, the SWAT and a Tabarre police patrol, which came as reinforcements, the armed bandits had to abandon the little girl to flee.
