iciHaiti - PNH in action : Hijacking of goods trucks 6 bandits killed

Saturday May 28, 2022, 4 bandits operating in Duval, (Commune of Croix-des-Bouquets) were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with a patrol from the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO-West 2) and the Temporary Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG). These bandits was specialized in hijacking cargo trucks, burglaries and armed robberies.
In addition, the day before on National #1 at the level of Canaan, two armed individuals who tried to hijack a truck of goods were killed by the police.
Following the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief Frantz Elbé, the DDO-2 recommended to the heads of the various police jurisdictions to increase patrols at the level of certain roads to prevent criminal activities.
