iciHaiti - Japan : Launch of the Haitian-Japanese Friendship League 31/05/2022 11:15:55
This Friendship League will facilitate : cultural exchanges between Haitians and Japanese, the establishment of partnerships in the educational field, such as joint research and teaching programs, the influx of Japanese capital and investment in Haiti, the concrete actions of cooperation in the agricultural field, the promotion of tourism and the exchange of resources and experiences in business, education, culture and technologies. Through this initiative, several exhibitions of Haitian art in the different cities of local parliamentarians will be organized to allow Japanese connoisseurs to appreciate the creativity of Haitian art. The main objective of this league is to serve as a point of support for actions of decentralized cooperation between Japan and Haiti also aims to weave a network of personal links between the regional actors of the political, economic and cultural life of Japan and those of Haiti. A dozen prefectures are already members of the Haitian-Japanese Friendship League which will be chaired by Motoyuki Ohashi, President of the Municipal Assembly of the city of Tenri. IH/ iciHaiti
