Friday June 3rd, 2022, Pierre Richard Désinord (35), alias "General" was injured and arrested with 4 of his accomplices, during intense exchanges of fire with the police during a police operation carried out at street Charlemagne Péralte, in the downtown of Port-de-Paix.

Let's remember that this notorious and sought-after bandit was at the head of a band armed with Kalashnikov (AK-47) assault rifles, revolvers and machetes which ransomed the residents of the locality of "La coupe".

Pierre Richard Désinord is currently being treated at the Immaculée hospital in Port-de-Paix, and under police surveillance.
