iciHaiti - Climate : 30 Haitian refrigeration technicians trained on the use of new cold technologies
The engineer Astrel Joseph, Director General of the Ministry of the Environment, closed this three-day training session for Haitian refrigeration technicians on good practices in air conditioning and refrigeration and on the use of new technologies of the cold in Port-au-Prince.

This training allowed 30 refrigeration technicians to receive their certification on this very important aspect for the protection of the ozone layer. Astrel JOSEPH welcomed the interest shown by these young technicians for this training which, he adds, "was at the height pf expectations both in the theoretical part and in the practical work [...]" adressing the recipients of this training he declared "[...] you represent a strong link in the chain of responsibilities in the protection of the Ozone layer" taking the opportunity to encourage them to put their knowledge into practice, to cultivate the sharing of information in order to mobilize as many people as possible around this dual objective, which is to reduce the negative impacts on the ozone layer and on the climate.
