In Martissant, armed individuals opened fire on June 14 on a bus providing the Les Cayes / Port-au-Prince route which refused to stop.

According to the testimony of the passengers, the bandits tried to force the bus to stop. Refusing to obey, the driver on the contrary accelerated to escape, the bandits then opened fire on the vehicle injuring 3 passengers who were taken to hospital

One of the victims, a teenager, was seriously injured.
