Sunday, June 19, 2022 around 3:00 am in the first communal section of Petit-Gôave, locality of "Mawòz" an individual armed with a pistol in ambush in a strategic place was waiting for the passage of the police patrol.

As soon as the patrols crisscrossing the area were visible, the shooter fired at the police who immediately retaliated, fatally hitting the shooter.

No police officers were injured.

The National Police of Haiti, multiplies its patrols in order to track down bandits and to bring order and peace to the country.
