The Communication office of the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation informs us that on Friday June 24, 2022 around 11:00 a.m. unidentified individuals burst into the ministry, asking for help to pay their rent, food and pay for their children's schooling.

Learning that their demands could not be met, these highly motivated individuals wreaked havoc on the institution's courtyard and seized a 12-gauge rifle from a security officer, a weapon quickly recovered and returned to the Ministry Security Service.

In this incident, which caused a slight movement of panic among the staff, there was more fear than harm. Fortunately, no injuries and minor material damage were reported.
