iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : 6th Edition of the Festi-Graffiti
For the 6th year, the Collective for the Promotion of Urban Arts and Contemporary Art (CPAUAC) celebrates street art by carrying out the 6th Edition of the Festi-Graffiti which brings together both international artists (USA, Mexico, Jamaica...) and local, with a view to promoting urban art together, as a tool for community development and environmental awareness.

From August 14 to 22, 2022, the Festi-Graffiti will be in the streets of Cap-Haitien around the theme "Natural disasters : living with them".

The CPAUAC is committed, apart from the frescoes that will be produced, to training around thirty artists and cultural operators so that they get involved in the fight against climate change and the protection of the environment.

The first two days of the Festival will be devoted to a workshop on climate change for cultural operators and artists from the city of Cap-Haitien.

The workshop is completely free, but a limited number of people can participate.

It essentially aims to give better knowledge for better sustainable and ecological choices in culture within the city of Cap-Haitien.

The workshop will be carried out with the collaboration and participation of UN Environment executives in Haiti.
