While the latest official figures from the Haitian Ministry of Public Health indicate that more than 10,000 suspected cases of cholera have been detected in Haiti, affecting the 10 departments and that nearly 200 people have died of cholera https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-38198-haiti-cholera-daily-bulletin-45.html , the Dominican Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MISPAS) confirms a second case of cholera imported into the Dominican territory.

He is a 4-year-old boy, of Haitian nationality, from Port-au-Prince, who entered the country on November 18, 2022, via Dajabón.
