iciHaiti - Social : Payment of checks of 15,000 Gourdes to community restaurants

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) proceeded in November to the delivery of 110 checks worth 15,000 Gourdes each to community restaurants located in the West department as part of its "Emergency Program Multisector" which is part of a package of social interventions targeting mainly populations living below the poverty line.

This initiative will cover the ten geographical departments of the country and will affect the 157 community restaurants which were supplied by FAES in August 2022. This start-up amount must be used to cover the current expenses of each of these restaurants.

The Henry Government is committed to working to fight against poverty by implementing social programs aimed at reaching the most vulnerable people in the country.
