iciHaiti - PNH : Arrest of 3 merchandise thieves member of a Canaan gang

During a routine check, agents of the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO/Ouest-2) arrested at the level of "Route 9" (commune of Cité Soleil), 3 individuals on board a truck full of wheat diverted at the Minoterie d'Haiti.
- Jean Baptiste Phanie (40 years old) native of Dichity commune of Jérémie
- Charles Marcelin (58) native of Jérémie
- Monday Herllot alias "ti ponyèt" (46) native of Jérémie
Accused of theft of goods and criminal associations, these people are suspected of being members of one of the gangs operating in Canaan.
