Dorestant Roosevelt, member of the criminal organization "400 Mawozo", was arrested earlier this week by the Police, at the Champs de Mars in front of the premises of the base of the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO).

Aged 39, from Port-au-Prince, Roosevelt is accused of involvement in several cases of kidnapping, assassination, armed robbery, and criminal association.

Also Saturday, February 25, 2023 John Peterson Moïse, alias "Jhonny", from the Commune of Estère (Dept. Artibonite) and active member of the gang based in Rosemberg led by "Patrick", thus known and also a member of the gang of Canaan, was mortally wounded in exchanges of fire with the Police.

Peterson Moïse was actively wanted by the police for kidnappings, thefts, hijacking of goods trucks and criminal association.
